VACC Camp is an annual community event treating special children & families to fellowship, fun and adventure. During this magical week , hometown hospitality lightens hearts, raises hopes, and creates unforgettable memories.

There are many ways to join in. Pick one or more!


Volunteers help with meal preparation, serving & clean-up. They must keep the campsite tidy. Pick up supplies and donations. They must interact with the campers and their families and help them to get to know one another. Facilitate and participate in activities. Volunteers can start by age 15 or by age 14 as long as they are freshmen in school. Click here for more information.

Nursing agencies, nurses & respiratory therapist volunteers:
Donate Night Nursing Shifts. Help put children to bed. Give night treatments so moms and dads can sleep well. Scheduled shifts run from 8:30 p.m. - 8:30 a.m. Click here for more information (link to volunteer section).

Be a Special Volunteer:
Share your knowledge, talent, or hobby in a special activity: ball playing, storytelling, kite flying, clowning, singing, fishing, dancing, painting....or help with a special event. Click here for more information (link to volunteer section).


Donate Money for Operating Costs:
VACC Camp accepts donations to help cover the costs of the camp.
For example, your donations can help cover:

Campsite rental: $1,900.00
Provisions: $4,500.00 - 6,000.00
T-Shirts: $3,000.00 - 4,000.00
Balloons and ribbons: $250.00 - $350.00

Donate Home Care Equipment and Supplies:
Donate home care equipment, loan equipment (like back-up vents, suction machine and batteries) or supplies like oxygen, catheters and saline.

Sponsor an Activity:
Your donations can help cover expenses related to camp activities. Special activities sponsorships cost the following:

Field trips: $3,500.00 - $5,000.00
Pool fees: $400.00 - $500.00
Arts & Crafts supplies: $500.00 - $1,500.00
Carnival night prizes: new toys, new games, and any $$ amount

Sponsor Food Fun:
You may choose to donate to help pay for food during camp:

Field trip lunch: $3,000.00 - 4,000.00
Parents dinner out: $750.00 - $1,250.00
Carnival night, pizza & sodas: $ 500.00 - $700.00
